Spotting seals
Not only people enjoy Zeeland, but seals also seem to have an ideal life. Relaxing on the beach, enjoying the sun and occasionally entering the water for a portion of fresh fish. They are everywhere. Most seals live in the Voordelta to which we will also fly. During a normal flight we can also spot them in the Grevelingenmeer, the Westerschelde and the Oosterschelde. At low tide, they often sunbathe on the sandbanks.

There are two types of seals in Zeeland, the common and the gray. That doesn't sound special, but just wait until you see them. The common seal is the smallest. Males can grow to a maximum of two meters. They have dark spots on their gray, dark brown or black fur. The head is small, certainly in relation to the body. A gray seal can be up to three meters long. He has a straight muzzle and separate nostrils. If we are lucky we also see porpoises gliding through the water from the air. Graceful and beautiful.

An experience that makes your flight over Zeeland unforgettable. The porpoise is the most common whale-like species along the Dutch coast. A few dozen live in the Oosterschelde. They also get their calves here in the spring.

Visit of 2 sandbanks, flight of approximately 40 minutes, space for max. 3 passengers.

Walcheren route

Flight of approximately 30 minutes, space for max. 3 passengers.
